Getting started

Here’s how to get rolling:

  1. Check out the Rails Primer

    To create your app with either DataMapper or TinyDS

  2. For this App

    Go to the Contacts page to see the demo created from the DataMapper Gist.

    The code is slightly modified to add JSON support for the Contacts RESTful controller and is consumed by the iPhone App client.

  3. Alternatively, test with Browser plug-ins

    RESTClient for Firefox | RESTClient for Google Chrome

  4. More details coming soon.

    A more formal write-up is in the works explaining the changes and testing involved in making this RESTful JSON provider.
